INTRODUCTION
INTRODUCTION

—————–—————————
A reinterpretation of the oldest and simplest art ever existed, combined with a perspective of circular economy. Point by point, line after line, column after column allows the birth of a new work of art, essential but contemporary, schematic and orderly as much as chaotic. Illusion is our reality. Everything is perception, abstraction, and appearance: my goal is to reinvent the object from a new and unexplored perspective. Our eyes are only able to perceive, but it is the brain that shows us reality, transforming it into something that is not at all real. By exploiting these limits, we arrive at new, wider and more versatile representations. It is apparently pointless, at first moment, to distinguish different shades of color or to realize details, shaping in the intellect a distorted and deformed image.

(1) Reading
Man does not see reality accurately: it is indeed filtered and distorted through eyes capable of a limited reading of things.

(2) Process
The eye provides data to the human brain, which processes it as quickly as possible, always leading back to everyday experience: this instinctive mechanism allows human survival, but also paves the way for extremely simple effects and illusions.

(3) Effect
The exploited effect is the perception of the eye of more concentrated and less concentrated areas: areas with a greater number of points appear darker; and vice versa. By processing light and dark areas quickly, ignoring the few millimeters between the points, the printed image is perceived.
